Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to become a member to play?
You're welcome to attend 3 sessions for free with Pickleball ACT as a non-member (bookings are essential). After your 3rd session, you will be required to pay a non-member fee per session. If you register as a member, the session fee will be reduced and you will receive other benefits.
How do I book into a session?
You can register for a session through our Events page. Please read the details to attend a session tailored to your experience and fill in each field as required.
Do I need to own a paddle?
We have a paddles available for use but feel free to bring your own if it is Pickleball USA Approved.
Do I need to know how to score or where to stand?
Our lovely volunteers and community will make you feel comfortable as a beginner. The Intro and Social sessions are designed for new players to learn the rules, positioning for service and basic scoring.
How do I become a member?
Register as a member through our portal here.
You will receive a member ID number and will need to create a password.
PACT Memberships include membership with the Pickleball Association of Australia (PAA) - the national pickleball body.
